In relation to social media we can think of the following steps:

- Step 2 – Find the right networks. Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, Twitter etc. are different channels and have their own particularities, so the intention of users on each of them as well. Do research on audience profile, keywords and trends before creating a business profile;
- Step 3 – Create a profile. Be aware of the correct sizes for posts and images in social media.
- Step 4 – Perform benchmarking. See what your competitors and blogs of related subjects are saying. If you have strong competitors, they certainly publish a lot of relevant stuff that you should take advantage of;
- Step 5 – Define a plan and an editorial calendar. This is necessary to organize the funds and analyze the progress of the strategy;
- Step 6 – Learn from the results. Just like blogs and websites, social media also has analysis tools. Use them to calculate your metrics and indicators.
However, once an entrepreneur is able to precisely define their main resources, key activities and key partnerships, costs become easier to calculate.
And finally, keep in mind that your cost structure should be re-evaluated from time to time in comparison with the other blocks. This will be the only way to ensure the sustainability of your project in the long term.
